Array Tools
Array tools let you create arrays from individual pieces of scan data (such as profiles or surfaces), or extract data from an array.
Arrays can contain any type of data supported in GoPxL. For more information on this and on arrays in general, see Arrays, Batching, and Aggregation. |
Two Array tools are available:
-
Array Index: Takes an array of data (a group of data messages) as input and extracts a single piece of data at the user-provided index. You can then perform measurements on the individual profile or surface, or perform measurements using more than one piece of data, such as measuring the thickness represented by two profiles or surfaces.
Usage examples include separating the multiple layers produced by a G5 sensor into individual profiles or surfaces.
For more information on this tool, see Array Index.
-
Array Create: Takes one or more individual pieces of data (that is, not array data), created by other tools or separate sensors, as input and then creates an array containing those pieces of data as elements. For more information on this tool, see Array Create.
