Part Detection

After a sensor has generated surface data by combining single exposures, GoPxL can isolate discrete parts on the generated surface into separate scans representing parts using the Profile Part Detection tool. For more information, see Continuous in Surface Generation.

Gocator can then perform measurements on these isolated parts.

Part detection is useful when measurements on individual parts are needed and for robotic pick and place applications.
